26/10 Sunday-27/10 Monday: Arrival at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport

Transfer to Bandung by bus / train (150 km)

 

BANDUNG (2 nights)

Hosting Institutions: IPDN (Institut Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri / Institute of Home Affairs Governance)

27/10 Monday afternoon/evening: Arrival and take a rest

28/10 Tuesday Morning: Opening and Plenary Sessions

28/10 Tuesday afternoon: Parallel Sessions

28/10 Tuesday evening: Socio-cultural evening

29/10 Wednesday morning: Moving to Surabaya by bus or train (750 km)

 

SURABAYA (3 nights)

Hosting Institution: Universitas Airlangga

29/10 Wednesday night: Arrival and take a rest

30/10 Thursday: Trip to Blitar (Mausoleum of Sukarno)

31/10 Friday: Plenary and Parallel Sessions

31/10 Friday evening: Socio-cultural evening.

01/11 Saturday: Final Declaration

 

EXTRA PROGRAMME (3 or more nights)

For participants who wish to stay longer and visit other places of Indonesia, the Organising Committee will be happy to help them to organise their trips to Yogyakarta or Bali.

 

YOGYAKARTA CULTURAL PROGRAMME

Hosting Institution: ISI (Institut Seni Indonesia / Indonesian Institute of Arts) Yogyakarta

By chance, the Bandung+70 Cultural Programme will coincides with the Biennale Jogja, an international event of arts organised in Yogyakarta every two years. See https://www.instagram.com/biennalejogja/

 

01-02/11 Saturday-Sunday: moving from Surabaya to Yogyakarta (around 330 km) by train or by car

02/11 Sunday: Afternoon Visit to ISI (Indonesian Institute of Arts) Yogyakarta campus - ended by the first cultural evening

03/11 Monday: Visit of historical sites (Borobudur, Prambanan, Kraton, UGM, Malioboro, etc.) - ended by the second cultural evening

04/11 Tuesday : sharing seminar/roundtable on cultural diversity with all participants – poetry reading and singing - ended by the third and last cultural evening
