VISA ON ARRIVAL

 

A Visa on Arrival (VoA) is granted to foreign nationals who are citizens of a country, the government of a special administrative region, and certain entities that are subject to a Visitor Visa on Arrival to stay in Indonesia.

 

Holders of Visa on Arrival are granted permission to stay in Indonesia for 30 (thirty) days, and the stay permit is extendable for another 30 days. Holders of Visa on Arrival cannot apply for an onshore visa in Indonesia.

 

Foreign nationals can apply for Visa on Arrival (VoA) upon arrival at Immigration Border Controls in certain airports, seaports, and border posts in Indonesia.

 

Required documents:

- A passport that is still valid for at least 6 (six) months;

- A return ticket or a connecting ticket to continue the journey to another country except for the crew of the transportation means who will stop by to join the ship and continue the journey to another country.

- Proof of having received the full dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

 

Fee: 500.000 IDR (around 40 USD) per arrival.

 

The VoA is possible for citizens of the following countries:

        Soekarno Hatta, Jakarta,

        Ngurah Rai, Bali,

        Kualanamu, North Sumatera,

        Hasanuddin, South Sulawesi

        Sam Ratulangi, North Sulawesi

        Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta

        Zainuddin Abdul Majid, West Nusa Tenggara

VISA EXEMPTION

 

Citizens from the following countries are allowed to enter into Indonesian territory without visa, based on the same conditions of VoA:

    Brunei Darussalam

    The Philippines

    Cambodia

    Laos

    Malaysia

    Myanmar

    Singapore

    Thailand

    Vietnam
